October was a BIG month!! Over 30 students from Alfred University were certified as facilitators in the "Memories In The Making" program. Memories In The Making is the official certification course administered by the Alzheimer's Associat...ion. On Wednesday, October 23rd, students from Dan Napolitano’s "Drawn To Diversity" (a community arts class at A.U.) participated in a "service learning" day at an assisted living community in Hornell, New York. Students helped elderly artists work with water colors to create paintings of depth and beauty. The class did an amazing job facilitating the paintings and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved.
