If you are in the Hornell, Alfred, Southern Tier or Rochester Area on Saturday April 18th, please try and attend our free Alzheimer's Awareness Brunch. The Alzheimer's Association will be presenting a shortened version of the Basics of Alzheimer's Disease while a free brunch is served. The Alzheimer's Glass and Iron project will be donating over a dozen sculptures made by Alfred University students based off of paintings by residents of McCauly Manor Assisted Living Facilities. Please come out to see the artwork, increase you knowledge of the disease and enjoy a Belgian waffle!!

On April 18th the Alzheimer’s Glass and Iron project along with the Mcauly Manor will be hosting a free educational brunch that will focus on Alzheimer’s Awareness. The Rochester Alzheimer’s Association will be presenting the presentation, "Basics of Memory Loss," after which the Alzheimer’s Glass and Iron project will give a brief informational talk about the project and show examples of artwork made by elderly at the Mcauly Manor along with Glass and Iron sculptures based off the work which will all be donated to the nursing home. Brunch and drinks will be served.
The event accommodates all family members. Elderly attendees suffering with Alzheimer’s and Dementia will be invited to paint with members of the Alzheimer’s Glass and Iron team while caregivers take part in informational panels lead by the Alzheimer’s Association.
